Come together in the beautiful surrounds of Mid Wales to welcome the lightest, longest days of the year.

In this half day retreat you’ll be guided through movement and meditation practice, including a mindful hot chocolate meditation.

We’ll finish with a delicious vegetarian lunch, and the brave hearted can head down to the river for some optional wild swimming after (weather dependent)!

This will be slightly different to our previous events as we’ll be in the beautifully buzzy & creative environment of The Lost ARC Cafe & event space in Rhayader.

This day includes:

  • – a joyful yoga experience
  • – sensory meditations, movement & reflections designed to help you connect with your body & the season
  • – soothing & delicious guided mindful hot chocolate meditation using Meredith’s own vegan-friendly blend she created especially for meditation sessions

A light vegetarian lunch at the cafe at The Lost ARC is included. You can let us know any dietary requirements when booking.

We appreciate that barriers and structural inequalities can prevent people taking part in training like this (including being on a lower income, being a carer or a volunteer). We’re therefore providing two bursary spaces at £15 for the day offered on a ‘no questions asked’ basis.

We also have a Pay What You Can option (either once the bursary spaces are filled or if you’d like to attend, but aren’t currently able to pay the full price). We trust you’ll know if this is right for your individual context so please email Rosie at rosieslay@gmail.com or Meredith at meredith@foodatheart.co.uk if you’d like to know more.

A few little tips for the day…

  • – This workshop is suitable for new and experienced yogis & meditators
  • – You’ll be most comfortable if you wear loose clothing. Please bring your own yoga mat (or let us know if you need us to provide one for you). Also please feel free to bring cushions, shawls, or a spare jumper!
    – You may like to bring your favourite notebook & pen to capture reflections across the day

If you’re travelling from outside Mid Wales, accommodation is available in Rhayader and you might like to tie in a trip to the beautiful Elan Valley nearby

Some lovely words from our previous events…

A wonderful combination, yoga, meditation and chocolate. After the day I felt positive, energised and calm all together!

This was an amazing retreat … Rosie and Meredith made the space welcoming and inclusive – whatever your ability. I can’t wait for the next one!

“Thank you for a beautiful weekend filled with all the elements needed to recharge and renew. The yoga classes were so well thought out, tied with the learning sessions and outdoor experiences. The food was truly delicious. Thank you for your time, energy and passion. Would love to come back again next year.”

Meredith is a meditation teacher, chocolatier & chocolate awards judge. She brings together chocolate and mindfulness as a delicious way to help support wellbeing.
