• Mindful Hot Chocolate Evening
     January 15, 2020
     7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Start your year in a mindful way with a cosy and calming session of meditation – and hot chocolate!

Meditation teacher and chocolatier, Meredith Whitely of Food At Heart, is running this gentle session for Battersea Power Station residents focussed on soothing your body and helping you connect with your senses.

What can you expect?

– Meredith will demo the recipe she uses for her Calm Cocoa hot chocolate range to create a rich and uplifting hot chocolate blend. As well as being full of flavoursome single origin dark chocolate, she uses gluten free oat milk to make this drink suitable for vegans and non-vegans!

– You’ll then take part in a gentle guided mindful hot chocolate meditation; this soothing mindful eating meditation involves slowly sipping while engaging your senses and is a beautiful (and delicious!) way to get grounded

Chocolate is a very special ingredient full of aromas and warming it up into a magical concoction is a tasty way to experience the soothing benefits of meditation and mindful awareness.

This session is suitable for new and experienced meditators. You’ll be most comfortable if you wear loose clothing, but wear whatever feels best for you. The meditation is done seated so there’s no need to bring anything but yourself and your taste buds.

Medical disclaimer – as a meditation guide Meredith is not qualified to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. She will not recommend any changes in medication or attitudes that could potentially worsen your condition.
