• Fill Your Cup Day Retreat
     January 28, 2024
     10:00 am - 4:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Come together for a day of nourishing movement, mindfulness and reflection to fill your cup for the year ahead.

Hosted by Meredith & Rosie in the inspiring and creative setting of Mid Wales Arts, we’ve designed a day of soulful activities to help you feel more grounded and gently inspired as we move into 2024.

This day includes:

  • – energising & restorative yoga
  • – breathwork
  • – reflective & compassionate journaling to inspire you for the year ahead
  • – compassion-based mindfulness meditation
  • – guided hot chocolate meditation & blending (with vegan-friendly hot chocolate) – including your own special hot chocolate blend to take away

A light vegetarian lunch will be available to purchase separately at £8 on the day from the cafe at Mid Wales Arts or you are welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer.

We appreciate that barriers and structural inequalities can prevent people taking part in training like this (including being on a lower income, being a carer or a volunteer). We’re therefore providing two bursary spaces at £10 for the day offered on a ‘no questions asked’ basis (THESE SPACES HAVE NOW BEEN BOOKED). We trust that you’ll know if this is right for your individual context so please email Rosie at rosieslay@gmail.com or Meredith at meredith@foodatheart.co.uk if you’d like to know more.

A few little tips for the day…

  • – This workshop is suitable for new and experienced yogis & meditators.
  • – You’ll be most comfortable if you wear loose clothing. Please bring your own yoga mat (or let us know if you need us to provide one for you). Also please feel free to bring cushions, shawls, or a spare jumper!
    – We’ll provide paper and pens for journaling, but if you have a favourite notebook that you already use to journal then please do bring this along.

If you’re travelling from outside Mid Wales, accommodation is available to book at Mid Wales Arts.

“Thank you for a beautiful weekend filled with all the elements needed to recharge and renew. The yoga classes were so well thought out, tied with the learning sessions and outdoor experiences. The food was truly delicious. Thank you for your time, energy and passion. Would love to come back again next year.”

Meredith is a meditation teacher, chocolatier & chocolate awards judge. She brings together chocolate and mindfulness as a delicious way to help support wellbeing. Her gentle sessions are grounded in mindful eating, mindful self-compassion and her passion for all things cacao. She loves sharing delicious ways to help you reduce your stress levels, and get more connected with your body & mind.

Please note if you are suffering from certain diagnosed mental health conditions (including clinical depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder) you should always seek support your supporting clinician before taking part in meditation.
