The first rule of Experimental Salad Club is… that you should talk about Experimental Salad Club.
But a creATE event isn’t just about talking. It’s about taking the time to stop, pause and truly taste, using all your senses. It’s also an opportunity to play and experiment with flavours, and create delicious food.
creATE Experimental Salad Club is a special event being run at the brand new SaladPride cafe at Neal’s Yard in Central London. It’s an evening of reflection, tasting, creating and eating. Expect some flavour surprises to be thrown in along the way. Come prepared to crunch, slurp and savour.
You’ll be introduced to tasting meditation and will take part in some fun tasting activities. You’ll then join forces with the other flavour-loving participants to create tasty salad dressings and seasonal salads to share on the night.
You’ll be given a couple of ingredients and lots of flavouring options so you can let your salad imagination run wild. It’s a bit like MasterChef’s invention test, but more salad-y (and less judgy). It will prove that salad really isn’t be boring; with just a few ingredients and some creative flair, you can construct delicious, simple and filling dishes.
The cost includes all ingredients plus a bottle of your own personal salad dressing to take away.
Tickets are non-refundable, but you may give/sell your ticket to another person.
creATE sessions are run by Meredith of Food At Heart. Her aim is to help people explore flavour with a genuine sense of awareness and fun. Want to know more? Meet Meredith, Food At Heart
