When you were younger were you told not to play with your food? During a creATE session you’re encouraged to play, experiment and have fun with food!
The focus for the next creATE Easter session will be on warming spices and seasonal ingredients.
You’ll get to design and create dishes to share, along with your own pide (Turkish pizza). There will also be a selection of creative food-based activities that involve all your senses and give you the chance to experiment with flavours. Ingredients are organic and seasonal where possible.
Each session is a little different as sticking to a rigid format is not really what creATE is about…
BUT if you really can’t bear not to know what’s happening, some of the things that you can expect to happen in a creATE session are:
– Creative food-based activities e.g. blind tasting, flavour combining, mindful food reflection
– Designing and creating elements of a meal to share
– Extra little tasks that let you flex your creative muscles e.g. writing poems, drawing, creating food art, maybe even singing if the mood takes you…
Places are limited as classes are kept small to let everyone get involved.
